What a crazy year. There were ups, and downs. There were late nights, and early mornings. There were happy days, and sad ones. There were bad grades, and good ones. Chemistry may have been harder than I could have ever imagined (the grade I received on my final proves just that) but I made it. Thank you junior year. You treated me well.
Every school year starts out with cheer, and the football season of my junior year was one to remember. With a new coach and rowdy seniors in charge the season was nothing short of a whirlwind, filled with chaos and screaming. Girls would lash out during games and the coach was a child. I still had fun because I was able to cheer on Friday nights for the first time as a Varsity cheerleader. Soon after the season the coach was fired for getting into a fight with one of our seniors.
As our cheer coach for basketball season was up in the air life was good. My grades are decent, although not exactly where I wanted them. I had let my GPA "slip" to a 3.7. I use quotations because I realize to some that may be a very good GPA, and it is, but I expect more from myself. Life with my boyfriend was well, although the amount of homework I had was over whelming.
Basketball season had came out of nowhere and luckily we were placed with the best coach who was hired on as the head coach for this year. (and I could not be happier about it!) But one of my best friends and I were named as captains of the Varsity cheer team. I forgot to mention that our seniors had quit leaving us with a four person Varsity cheer team. I received Most valuable cheer leader at the end of basketball season and was so very honored.
After basketball season the school year flew by. Before I knew it, it was time for finals. And school was over. Thanks to the help of my AP classes, I brought my GPA up to a 3.8. I cannot wait for senior year, although it is scary, I believe I am ready. Here's to the summer.
